Retail pulses for Indian kitchens

Swastik is the pack that goes into a home kitchen, so it gets the fussiest treatment we give any lot. Unpolished, uncoated, and sorted hard enough that a cook does not have to pick through it. The grain is what it looks like on the front of the bag — nothing added to make it shine.

Indu Pulses is the mark on our Yavatmal MIDC output — the name printed on the bag alongside the licence, the pack date and the weight declaration. Buyers who have dealt with the Yavatmal unit for years still order by this name.

Most of what we pack carries somebody else's name.

Private label is not a side line for us. If you have a brand, or you are building one, we will mill to your specification and pack it in your artwork.

Your artwork, our packing line

Printed HDPE, BOPP or laminated packs from 500 grams to 50 kilos. Send the print-ready file and we handle the rest, including the mandatory Indian food labelling declarations.

Your specification, written down

We agree the sorting tolerance, moisture and finish before the first lot runs, keep a retained sample, and check every batch after that against it.

Compliance handled

FSSAI declarations, net weight, batch and pack month, storage lines and care icons. For export, the full documentation set is prepared in-house.

Brand and stockist questions

Four. Swastik for retail consumer packs, Chetak for bulk wholesale trade packs, JP for chana out of Yavatmal, and Indu Pulses as the Yavatmal house mark. Bulk and export consignments ship under JV Agro itself.

Yes. Distributors, retail chains and wholesale traders can stock any of the four. Tell us your territory and expected monthly offtake and we will work out terms.

Yes, and it is a large part of our business. Send your artwork and we will pack your brand in printed HDPE, BOPP or laminated packs from 500 g to 50 kg. Minimums depend on the pack size and print run.

The milling standard is the same across all of them — same mills, same lines, same people. What changes is the specification each one is set to. Retail packs are sorted tighter than bulk trade sacks, because a consumer sees every grain and a wholesaler sees a sack.

Yes. Every consumer pack carries the FSSAI licence number, the packer's details, pack month, batch number, net weight and storage instructions as required under Indian food labelling rules.
